So, I found these suggestions at the website of Mic.hael's, which is a big arts and crafts chain store here in the Northeast. All of these involve buying materials that I don't have just lying around my house, but also, they seem pretty straightforward to put together. Thought I'd share them here in case anyone needs inspiration.

Yeah, these are all pretty Christmasy. But also customizable - colors can be changed and names can be added.
Also, though I'm not quite sure how a name would be incorporated, I've always thought that origami paper stars were so pretty, and I found some step-by-step instructions here on how to make them.
Anyone else have suggestions?
