Welcome to the Ornament Swap Holiday 2012 Edition

Here we are again. It’s November and the holiday season is quickly approaching.  Along with all the traditional trimmings, the holiday season can bring those of us in the babyloss community a fresh round of grief and longing for our children who are not here to celebrate with us. No matter if this is your first Christmas, second Hanukkah or fifth Winter Solstice without your child; we all deserve some extra support at this time of year.

The Remembering Together Ornament Swap is back for a third Holiday season to bring some light and love to what is literally the darkest time of the year. By participating in the swap, you will receive an ornament with your baby’s name, hand-made with love, from a fellow bereaved mother (or father or family.) You will also make an ornament honoring a lost child to send to another family.

Here are the details for this year:

 - To join the swap, use the form on the Sign-up Page or go directly to the form here

***Please realize that however many ornaments you wish to receive you will then have to make the same amount of ornaments. For example: If you fill out 3 forms you will receive 3 ornaments from other people and you will need to make 3 different ornaments for 3 different families.***

- The sign-up deadline in Thursday November 15. Last call for sign-ups will be at 6 pm (EST)

- Swappers will be assigned as soon as possible after that deadline. You should receive the information about who you are making your ornament for and where it is going by Saturday November 17. If you don't have it by Sunday morning, let us know ASAP.

- The shipping deadline for this year's swap is Monday December 3rd. If you can send it out sooner, great. We want to reduce the number of late arrivals this year.

If you have any other questions or are new to the swap, please read through our FAQ page. If you still have questions, please email us at rememberingswaps@gmail.com

Please spread the word by forwarding the sign up email, linking to our blog, posting our button on your blog or liking our Facebook page.
